There seems to be more excitement about the UB Zombies deck, so if that interests you I would look there, but I can't speak too much on these at all.We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. Innistrad: Midnight Hunt: I haven't played either of these, but from what I've heard, they both are really good. I absolutely love my Prosper deck, and when it gets going, you'll have a ton of treasures and so many cards to play from exile you'll never run out of things to do. Before they know it, you'll have a huge board and are ready to take them out.Īdventures in the Forgotten Realms: Planar Portal.Īgain, all 4 decks seem pretty good, but Prosper is by far one of the best and most fun commanders Wizards has ever printed. Silverquill is a fun politics deck, where your opponents are incentivized for attacking each other in order to draw cards. It's a value engine deck so it can get quite complicated, so if you're fairly new to the format I would maybe recommend something else first, and then pick this one up later when you're feeling up for it. Lorehold is a R/W artifact recursion deck, and the value you can get from Osgir is ridiculous. While most of the Strixhaven decks are quite good, these were the two I enjoyed the most, for very different reasons. Strixhaven: Lorehold Legacies and Silverquill Statement. Elfball has been a strong decktype for a while now, and this one is good right out of the box and super synergistic. Right up there with Reap the Tides for power level. Can be just nasty if upgraded and really takes over in the late game. Play lands, draw cards, and overwhelm your opponents in value. Probably the strongest of the 6 cheaper commander decks. It's good right out of the box but can really improve with some fairly cheap upgrades. Zendikar Rising was the first set to have the cheaper commander decks and while both are pretty good, I've really enjoyed the UB Rogues tribal with Anowon at the helm. Kalamax is a fun commander and it is a new spin on the Temur colours (URG). Buy Faceless Menace Deck 39.99 deck Planeswalker 1 Vraska the Unseen /Planeswalker Creature 1 Deathmist Raptor 1 Hooded Hydra 1 Chromeshell Crab 1 Ixidron 1 Kheru Spellsnatcher 1 Stratus Dancer 1 Thousand Winds 1 Vesuvan Shapeshifter 1 Bane of the Living 1 Grim Haruspex 1 Silumgar. Arcane Maelstrom is all about copying instants. Unfortunately this deck is a little pricey as it features one of the most broken cards in the commander format (Fierce Guardianship) which has really driven up the price. Timeless Wisdom features cycling as it's main mechanic, and it's a pretty fun and simple deck to play. ![]() It can be a bit complicated for newer players, however, as keeping track of all the face down cards can get a bit difficult.Ĭommander 2020: Timeless Wisdom and Arcane Maelstrom. While morph does limit what you can do with this deck in terms of upgrades, it's a fun deck and Sultai (UBG) are great colours as they give you access to ramp, draw & removal (the three things every commander deck should have). Here are ones I've found to be pretty fun/good from each of the past few sets: I've been buying & playing the precons since the 2019 set, and I've found that Wizards has gradually been making better and better precons over the past few years (i.e. I don't think there's really one precon that is the "best", it comes down to personal preference and what style of decks you like to play.
